The Issue: Due to an organisational restructure the Company no longer had an internal HR resource and the Finance Director assumed responsibility for this function. As it was not his area of expertise he was feeling nervous and concerned that the Company could be exposed. Effective People were therefore asked to conduct an HR Audit to identify any potential areas of risk.
The Process: An initial meeting took place to enable the Consultant from Effective People to gain an understanding of the business. The Consultant then spent half a day on site discussing the challenges facing the business and reviewing the HR processes that were currently in place. An integral part of this review involved considering the future plans for the business to ensure the HR function supports the strategy.
Following the on-site audit a comprehensive report was prepared detailing any potential areas of exposure, together with recommendations and an action plan to afford the Company maximum protection. A subsequent meeting was then arranged to review the report and agree implementation of the action plan.
The Outcome: The client was delighted with the service and has since commissioned the ongoing support of Effective People in an outsourced capacity. However, given the detailed information contained in Effective People's HR audit reports, the client has been able to implement many of the recommendations using their own internal resources, thus reducing costs.
An HR Audit, including production of a comprehensive report and action plan, can be undertaken by Effective People for as little as £600, plus VAT. For further information contact us. |
