• Use a fair method to select staff for redundancy
• Give reasonable time off to look for work or make training arrangements
• Pay statutory redundancy pay to all eligible staff
• Give or pay statutory or contractual notice
• Follow fair dismissal procedures
• Notify BERR if you intend to make more than 20 staff redundant.
